Sahar Kabiri is a compassionate and highly skilled psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience providing individual and group therapy. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders, symptom management, and the use of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs.
She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Johns Hopkins University (with Honors) and is a proud member of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for counseling and psychology. Sahar is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, DC and Virginia, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CSAC-A).
In addition to her clinical work, Sahar is a Board-Approved Supervisor for LPCs in Virginia and a board supervisor for CSAC and CSAC-A clinicians, reflecting her commitment to ethical leadership, mentorship, and excellence in the mental health profession.
Sahar also brings 20+ years of experience in management and business, holding a Bachelor of Science in Management and Administration from George Mason University (GMU). This unique combination of clinical expertise and leadership background allows her to integrate structure, emotional intelligence, and communication skills into therapy.
